NYPACE Names Brian Burke as Development Director
- Former Seton Hall University Fundraiser Appointed to Drive Development Efforts -
NEW YORK, June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs ("NYPACE"), a leading not-for-profit organization focused on stimulating job creation and sustainable economic development in under-resourced neighborhoods of New York City, today announced the appointment of Brian Burke as Development Director. Mr. Burke joined NYPACE in May and will focus on expanding the organization's marketing efforts, sources of funding and community outreach.
Previously, Mr. Burke helped manage Seton Hall University's Pirate Blue Athletic Fund, the principal fundraising vehicle for Seton Hall University's Department of Athletics. During his tenure, Mr. Burke helped set a fundraising record of more than $3.25 million for capital projects, facility upgrades and athletic scholarships. More recently, Mr. Burke founded BCB Development, Inc., a full-service development consultancy launched to increase fiscal giving, donor membership, and alumni and community engagement for collegiate athletic departments, higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations.
