Mr. Inadomi will focus on expanding the reach and scale of NYPACE by increasing its pool of advisors and entrepreneurs, identifying and strengthening collaborative partnerships, and developing new sources of funding. Stephanie Bombaci, NYPACE's former Executive Director, will continue in the new role of Program Director.
Mr. Inadomi brings a unique combination of entrepreneurship, social impact, and volunteer engagement to NYPACE. Since 1992 he has been the majority owner of CIS (Consolidated Information Services, Inc.), a startup that he grew into one of the largest independent credit reporting agencies in the US.
From 2008-2015 he served as Executive Director of the New York Mortgage Coalition (NYMC), a nonprofit housing collaborative that engages banks to provide affordable loans to low and moderate income homebuyers in the greater New York region. Under his watch, NYMC more than doubled in size, increasing program membership from 8 to 17 nonprofit agencies and its funding base from 7 to 18 financial institutions.
Mr. Inadomi is also the founding chair of YANA (Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance), the alumni-driven nonprofit that organizes and leverages Yale's social impact community for the greater common good.
"With success in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, along with a passion for social change, Ken provides the experience and leadership we need to address the many growth opportunities in front of NYPACE," said Dan Zamlong, Board Chairman, NYPACE. "We look forward to working with him to help restore and revitalize small businesses throughout the many under-resourced areas of New York City."
"This is a tremendous opportunity to work with a very committed team at the cutting edge of change," said Mr. Inadomi. "I'm incredibly excited to join NYPACE and to start helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses."
