Oetker Collection's Le Bristol Paris is "Best Hotel In France"
Business Insider, Travel + Leisure and World Travel Awards name Le Bristol Paris as 2014 Leading Hotel in France
PARIS, Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Oetker Collection's Le Bristol Paris is pleased to announce its top place as the best hotel in France. According to 2014 award listings and ceremonies, the fully renovated Parisian hotel triumphs in France and continues to rank highly worldwide.
Business Insider announced Le Bristol Paris as "Best Hotel in France" of 2014 in September among their Best Hotels in the World rankings. The results are based on the aggregation of four notable hotel rankings created by elite travel publications and websites, including Travel + Leisure's World's Best Hotel Awards, Conde Nast Traveler's Top 100 Hotels & Resorts, TripAdvisor's Top 25 Hotels in the World, and the Fodor's 100 Hotel Awards. Le Bristol Paris is the only hotel in France to figure in this rating.
In August, Le Bristol Paris won the highly coveted "France's Leading Hotel" award for the fourth consecutive year at the World Travel Awards 2014 gala ceremony. The World Travel Awards, a major event in world tourism for over 20 years, rewards excellence in all sectors of travel and tourism. This distinction is the result of votes by professionals in this sector and members of the public.
Le Bristol Paris was also included in the most prestigious listing of Travel + Leisure's 2014 World's Best Awards for the second year. Nominated as the best French hotel in the category "Top Large City Hotels" in Europe, the hotel dethroned defending champions The Ritz Paris and the Four Seasons Hotel George V. The World's Best Awards is a compilation of the year's best hotels, resorts, spas, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators and more, selected mostly by the magazine's readers.
Also known for its excellent gastronomy, Le Bristol Paris' Epicure was selected by Saveur Magazine as the "Experts' Choice Best Hotel Restaurant (More than 100 Rooms)" in the 2014 Culinary Travel Awards. The Saveur Culinary Travel Awards honor "the very best" cities, markets, restaurants, bars, hotels, airlines, and other experiences according to both an expert panel of world travelers and the publication's readers.
These recent recognitions, which follow 2013's triumph of Conde Nast Traveler's top ranking European hotels, confirm Le Bristol Paris' position as the top French hotel. Its sumptuous rooms, unique location, exceptional gastronomy supervised by head Chef Eric Frechon and exemplary service are key ingredients to the Hotel's success. Le Bristol Paris has recently undergone a $150+ million renovation, which includes a new French-style spa, an extensive redesign of the property's signature three-Michelin-starred restaurant, plus a fully refurbished lobby and nineteen rooms and suites.
