COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ACT Ohio member councils were honored at the 2018 Zero Injury Safety Awards (ZISA) Gala, held Nov. 1 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. The ZISA Awards, presented annually by the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, are the nation's most prestigious construction-safety awards, honoring efforts to achieve zero injuries on job sites.
Nine of the 14 regional councils that make up ACT Ohio and the OSBCTC won 32 individual ZISA Awards. Together, ACT Ohio members completed over 8.7 million construction man-hours without a single injury on their job sites.
