LOS ANGELES, Feb. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Omnia Media, a leading multi-channel network that focuses on talent in the gaming, music, and entertainment verticals, is launching a new division focused on women's lifestyle called GLAMBOOTHTV and expanding to include emerging platforms. GLAMBOOTHTV will be the home for beauty and style influencers as well as the new digital destination of creators sharing ways to live a beautiful, healthy, and glamorous lifestyle. This launch is Omnia's first foray into original programming.
GLAMBOOTHTV, the YouTube channel, will air new shows weekly including GlamBuzz, a show for the top 5 most buzz worthy topics in celebrity, fashion and entertainment. This show will star a rotating cast that includes Viner, Landon Moss and YouTuber MissTiffanyMa. Other original programs on GLAMBOOTHTV will include Glamify, a DIY show, and Glambition, a character transformation show. The channel currently boasts more than 15 million views and 125k subscribers.
Omnia Media has signed top creators in the category like The LaVigne family, which has 3 million monthly views and more than 700k subscribers, Rose Russo, who has more than 491k subscribers, Ricky Richards, a fashion advisor with 5 million views on his videos, and JennisseMakeup, who's garnered 205k subscribers and 33 million views to GLAMBOOTHTV. To usher in the new era of Omnia Media, the company hired Carmen Wong as head of partnerships and strategy, GLAMBOOTHTV. Wong is experienced in the YouTube space and was previously manager of talent acquisitions and development at StyleHaul. Wong says, "I'm excited to join the Omnia Media Team. GLAMBOOTHTV will be an opportunity for creators to collaborate and help girls and women navigate their everyday lives, as well as inspire their daily routines."
Marketing efforts will be bolstered by Omnia's expansion into off-YouTube influencer businesses (i.e., Vine, Instagram, Twitter monetization) and acquisition of the largest Vine compilation channel on YouTube, BuzzVines. Ray Kim, previously head of influencer relations and development at twtMob, is now director of emerging platforms. New Talent brought on for Vine includes Dem White Boyz, Terrio, Ronnie Banks, Dan Rubin, StassieBaby, Landon Moss and Doroshina (NSFW). "I'm thrilled about the opportunities coming through to Omnia Media," said Kim. "Unlike traditional MCN's, we have begun to expand our reach into Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Pinterest and Snapchat allowing us to develop opportunities for partners with brand deals focused on multiple platforms."
