ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Oncure Medical Corp. ("Oncure"), a national network of world-class cancer treatment centers, today announced the appointment of Duane Choate as President & Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Choate, previously Oncure's Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer, joined the company in 2007 and succeeds David Chernow.

Mr. Choate is a seasoned healthcare industry executive who, prior to joining Oncure, was a healthcare consultant principally serving large physician owned oncology groups. From 1993 to 1999, he was employed by US Oncology, Inc., a then $2 billion publicly held physician practice management company, most recently as the chief operating executive responsible for the development and timely implementation of same market growth strategies. Prior to US Oncology, he was employed by HMSS, Inc. as Director of Finance of this publicly held home healthcare company. Mr. Choate earned a BBA from the University of Houston.
