#LovingonMe challenges women to declare and share their value and worth on social media

To celebrate, women around the world will take to social media to send a message of self-respect and empowerment, with selfies declaring, "I am …," followed by the word or phrase that best describes them. Loving on Me Day founder Katrina McGhee has challenged 1 million women to participate.
"Loving on Me Day is about the messages we tell ourselves," said McGhee. "When they are powerful, positive messages that affirm our value and worth, we can achieve great things individually, and ultimately empower all women."
Women – and men – throughout the world can get involved in three easy steps:
- Declare it: "I Am" cards can be downloaded at http://lovingonme.com/loving-on-me-day/ and completed with a self-defining phrase. Cards are available in English, French and Spanish. Participants also can choose to make their own cards.
- Share it: Take a fun photo holding your "I Am" card. Join 1 million women on Loving on Me Day by posting the picture on social media and tagging it #LovingonMe. Share it with your friends or on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram @iamlovingonme.
- Live it: Feb. 13 is just the start. McGhee asks that women believe in the positive and let it inspire every day throughout the year. For support on the journey, join the Loving on Me tribe by subscribing to the newsletter at lovingonme.com.
"I want women from every corner of the world to start this year strong by declaring who we are, and knowing that we are enough," said McGhee.
