CLEVELAND, July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Establishing a complete, secure electronic patient record is the main goal for healthcare providers seeking to achieve HIMSS Stage 7 requirements. HackensackUMC will use OnBase to consolidate its disparate scanning systems and integrate them directly into the EHR and hospital billing system. The healthcare provider's CIO, Dr. Shafiq Rab, selected OnBase due to the broad functionality and proven integrated solutions.
