Online Stores, Inc. Still Expanding, Listed on Both the Pittsburgh 100 and the Inc. 5000

NEW STANTON, Pa., Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Online Stores, Inc. announced today that it has been ranked sixty-fourth on this year's Pittsburgh 100, an annual listing of the city's fastest-growing companies. It is the fifth time in as many years that the company has appeared on the list, which is distributed as a supplement to the Pittsburgh Business Times.

The company also announced that it had earned the position of 2,822 on the 2010 Inc. 5000, a yearly ranking of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. It is the third consecutive year that Online Stores has been listed on the Inc. 5000, which is compiled each year by Inc. magazine.

"We're really excited about being included in the rankings," said Kevin Hickey, the company's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "It's a way of showing our employees that their hard work really is paying off. We are still growing, so we think we can make it onto both of the lists again next year."  

Over the past few months, Online Stores has launched several new Web sites, one of which is LandscapersStore.com, which went live in March of 2010. The site caters to the needs of both commercial landscapers and home gardeners, offering everything from heavy-duty landscaping equipment to gardening gloves and rakes.

Online Stores has also been expanding its facilities, adding a new wing to its office building in New Stanton, Pennsylvania. The 3,400-square-foot addition currently houses the company's Customer Service Department, which has been growing right along with its sales numbers. The company also added an additional 11,000 sq ft of warehouse space, taking the companies space to over 110,000 sq ft.
