Top Performer in Data Technology Sales Joins Open Source Storage
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Open Source Storage (OSS), the visionaries and creators of enterprise data storage solutions, announced today that Greg Mayhew has been named VP of Business Development. With over 20 years of sales and management experience in the data storage vertical, Mayhew brings a track record of high achievement within startup organizations. Mayhew's extensive experience and deep network in the western region will allows OSS to introduce its product line to many new customers.

Before joining OSS, Mayhew was Director of Sales Execution, Cloud Content and Media at MS Sales and Service Group, a private consulting firm for sales organizations. There he secured and developed accounts such as Yahoo!, Netflix, Pandora, Facebook, MSN and others. Prior to leading sales at MS, Mayhew was Regional Vice President of Sales – West Coast at Dell Force 10. His team accounted for over 50% of Force 10 revenue and was the top performing region throughout his five year tenure. Mayhew also built Force 10's web services vertical from zero to $40 million in revenue within two years.
Over the last 22 years, Mayhew has also held senior sales positions at Pannaway Technologies, Loudloud, EMC Corporation and Cabletron Systems. He has won over 10 prestigious sales honors and awards from the companies he has served.
