NHPCO's conference includes a special two-day pediatric intensive and expanded pediatric palliative care session track.  Opening plenary speaker Therese A. Rando and the presentation of the Distinguished Researcher Award will put a spotlight on the importance of grief and bereavement care in the work of the interdisciplinary team.
