OSL Holdings, Inc. Adds Ronald Williams and Michael Jones-Bey to Advisory Board & Provides Update on Business Development
NEW YORK, Dec. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- OSL Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: OSLH) (the "Company"), a Nevada company, today provided an update on changes to its Advisory Board. OSLH has named Ronald Williams and Michael Jones-Bey to its Advisory Board and has retained Mr. Williams and Mr. Jones-Bey as consultants to assist in strategic development of a new business unit & business development strategies as it relates to electronic marketplaces in the diversity marketing channel.
Mr. Williams, 1st Vice-Chair of the National Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC) since 2008, NE Regional Chair of the NMSDC's NMBEIC from 1996 to present and has served on the Board of Directors of the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (GNEMSDC ) since 1996; It is the primary objective of the National Minority Supplier Development Council to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes. There are 3,500 corporate members throughout the network, including most of America's largest publicly-owned, privately-owned and foreign-owned companies, as well as universities, hospitals and other buying institutions. The regional councils certify and match more than 16,000 minority-owned businesses.
Mr. Jones-Bey most recently served as Executive Director of the largest public sector "supplier diversity program" in the nation from 2007-2010. He was responsible for revitalizing the New York State diversity certification program, agency compliance, and business development initiatives. The targeted industry sector capacity building and market access programs under his direction resulted in over $300 million of additional contract opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses in the construction, renewable energy, and information technology industries.
