PandaLabs Launches Panda Challenge for Technology Enthusiasts

ORLANDO, Fla., July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- PandaLabs, Panda Security's antimalware laboratory, today announced the launch of the Panda Challenge, a two-part competition for technology enthusiasts to demonstrate their expertise by solving two practical problems. The first challenge will be published on the PandaLabs blog on Saturday, July 17 at 12:00 a.m. PT. Solutions for the first challenge must be received by Monday, July 19 at 8:00 a.m. PT.

Last year's competition witnessed more than 4,000 entrants putting their considerable computer skills to the test. This year's Panda Challenge will ask participants to find the solution to two practical problems that will be published in the PandaLabs blog. In the first phase, contestants will be instructed to download a game and then make a keyfile to play it; the second phase involves finding a valid license for a program.

Important dates:

• Saturday, July 17 at 12:00 a.m. PT – First challenge begins (details published on PandaLabs blog)
• Monday, July 19 at 8:00 a.m. PT – First challenge deadline
• Saturday, July 24 at 12:00 a.m. PT – Second challenge begins
• Monday, July 26 at 8:00 a.m. PT – Second challenge deadline

The winner will be the first contestant to send the correct solution to [email protected]. Registration is not required, and citizens from any country in the world can participate.
