Passare Announces New Product Enhancements, Software Integrations With Bass-Mollett, Messenger, and QuickBooks
End of Life Management Platform Improvements Boost Flexibility of Data Access and Operational Efficiency for Independent Funeral Homes
SAN FRANCISCO, March 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Passare, Inc., a trusted and relevant source for End of Life planning and management, today announced new product enhancements designed to significantly improve data accessibility and operational efficiency for independent funeral homes. The newest release of Passare's End of Life Management Platform features software integrations with leading funeral stationery and print providers, Bass-Mollett and Messenger, as well as QuickBooks, the leading accounting software solution for small businesses.
Passare partnered with Bass-Mollett Publishers and Messenger to enable funeral homes in the company's nationwide network to seamlessly export case data into the stationery providers' templates and formats. This direct data transfer not only streamlines the printing process with greater efficiency and speed, but also dramatically reduces any possibility of data entry errors from manual re-keying. The enhancements to Passare's End of Life Management Platform—which enables families and funeral directors to work together more efficiently and effectively—also includes the ability to export data directly into Messenger's "Make It! Personal" web application for creating customized products.
"Since our founding in 1961, our mission has been to serve the specialized needs of funeral directors and this partnership with Passare helps solidify our reputation for high quality and innovative service," said Duane Mollett, director of data processing for Bass-Mollett. "With Passare, our customers have the confidence of knowing that all of the details of their print collateral are being intelligently and accurately managed so they can focus their efforts on best serving their families."
Passare's software integration with Intuit's QuickBooks improves the day-to-day operations for independent funeral homes. With the ability to easily export case data to QuickBooks desktop products, Passare customers can more quickly and accurately process payments and invoices, as well as facilitate quality assurance and financial reconciliation through improved search functionality. Passare also provides support and best practices to help customers configure their accounts to integrate with QuickBooks.
Based on feedback from existing Passare customers, the company also made significant improvements to its dashboard to help funeral homes manage case administration with greater ease of use and customization. The new dashboard features advanced search and filtering functionality to locate case files faster and easier. Other new enhancements include customizable dashboard settings and user-defined tabs, in addition to the ability to export dashboard summaries to a CSV file.
"Our core mission is to help independent funeral homes serve their families better and run their businesses more efficiently and profitably. We're continuing to listen to our customers to fine tune our End of Life Management Platform," said Tom Bonafair, interim CEO of Passare. "With new product integrations with key vendors such as Bass-Mollett, Messenger, and QuickBooks—in addition to new dashboard enhancements—Passare has taken another big step forward towards that goal."
