Patriot Coal to Participate in Conferences

ST. LOUIS, March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot Coal Corporation (NYSE: PCX) today announced that Patriot Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Mark N. Schroeder will speak at 8:50 a.m. Mountain Time at the Barclays 2012 High Yield Bond and Syndicated Loan Conference on Monday, March 26 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.  Interested investors may access a live audio webcast or a replay of the presentation at www.patriotcoal.com. 

On Tuesday, March 27, Schroeder will speak at 3:30 p.m. Central Time at the Howard Weil Annual Energy Conference at The Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans.
