Patton Boggs, American Chamber of Commerce Libya to Host Seminar on Investing in Libya

WASHINGTON and TRIPOLI, Libya, Sept. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The law firm of Patton Boggs LLP and the American Chamber of Commerce in Libya (AmCham Libya) will co-host "Libya Industry Day," a seminar aimed at instructing US companies on how to invest in Libya, on Thursday, October 3, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, in the Washington DC offices of Patton Boggs.

Jointly developed by AmCham Libya and Patton Boggs' Middle East and North Africa (MENA) practice group, the event will provide a forum for representatives of government and industry of both countries to discuss public and private sector opportunities for economic development and enhanced trade between the two nations.

The agenda for the day-long seminar focuses on economic development in such key sectors as corporate security, national security and the role of the U.S. defense industry; infrastructure and health care; and market entry regulation, compliance and licensing issues as they relate to Libyan-U.S. business relationships.
