"We've actively engaged our community regarding moving companies since our launch, discovering a deep-seated interest in a transparent outlet," says Todd Ernst, co-founder of PCSgrades. "We devised moving company reviews to empower currently-serving and veteran military families to share information openly through PCSgrades.com, our social media channels, and our partner organizations."
A downloadable one-page notice is available at PCSgrades.com for military families to hand-deliver to moving companies informing them their performance will be reviewed. Participating moving companies may view their reviews and interact with their customers through the PCSgrades secure messaging system. Personal information such as full names or email addresses stay hidden during the entire interaction, and the reviewer remains in full control to decline response or to respond through their username.
Co-founder of PCSgrades, Tony Straw, says, "Our families face real frustrations when their valuables are broken or lost during a move. Our goal is twofold: To provide our military community a voice in the moving process while securely protecting their privacy, and to encourage and reward positive behavior amongst the companies and professionals we must all do business with."
The new review feature is available now at PCSgrades.com and is open to all current and former military families.
Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, PCSgrades was launched in July 2015 to empower current and former military families through trusted reviews on must-solve relocation problems, including off-base neighborhoods, base housing, moving companies, schools, REALTORS®, and more. The service is free to current and former service members and spouses.
