In this role, Skelly will be responsible for all the financial aspects of the company including accounting, treasury, forecasting, information technology, etc. Skelly has more than 27 years of experience in the financial arena transcending various industries that include banking, retail grocery stores, retail office specialty stores and long term care companies.
Prior to joining Pelion, Skelly served as the Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President and Treasurer for Golden Living formerly Beverly Enterprises (NYSE: BEV), where he lead a 400-person Finance Organization: accounting, strategic planning, treasury, information technology, procurement, billing/accounts receivable, risk management, real estate transactions, financial analysis and mergers/acquisitions. Previously, as Senior Vice President, Treasurer of OfficeMax, Skelly was responsible for payroll, risk management, real estate operations, corporate finance, capital markets, bank relations and treasury operations. While at The Grand Union Company, he served as Treasurer and Acting Chief Financial Officer – and was responsible for several key accounting/finance functions including corporate finance & treasury, financial planning & budgeting, accounting, information technology and risk management.
