Pennsylvania Governor Corbett Orders State Flags at Capitol Complex and in Berks County to Fly at Half-Staff in Honor of Deputy Sheriff Kyle Pagerly
HARRISBURG, Pa., June 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Berks County lowered to half-staff in honor of Deputy Sheriff Kyle Pagerly.
Pagerly was fatally wounded in an exchange of gunfire while serving an arrest warrant in Albany Township on June 29.
Flags shall remain at half-staff until interment.
