Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board to Welcome NBA Star and TV Host John Salley to Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection Store in Chester County
Will Sign Bottles of Vegan Vine Wines
WAYNE, Pa., April 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- John Salley, the first NBA player to win four championships with three different teams and co-host of a popular television sports show, will sign bottles of Vegan Vine Wines from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 11, at Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection Store, 821 West Lancaster Ave., Suite 310, Wayne, 19087.
Since adopting a vegan lifestyle, Salley has been an advocate for wellness. He is now a part-owner of Vegan Vine Wines, a brand dedicated to educating the vegan and wine-drinking communities about vegan-friendly techniques for producing wine.
A 15-year NBA veteran, John Salley was a member of the Detroit Pistons in the 1980s. He went on to play with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls winning the 1996 championship. In 1999, coach Phil Jackson invited Salley to come to Los Angeles to provide experience and leadership to the 1999-2000 Lakers' championship team. Salley appeared in movies and on television, most notably as the co-host of the Emmy-nominated, "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" on Fox Sports Net. He now owns his own production company.
Salley will offer a complimentary tasting of Vegan Vine Cabernet Sauvignon, Vegan Vine Sauvignon Blanc, Vegan Vine Red Blend and Vegan Vine Chardonnay wines for those 21 and older and will sign pre-purchased bottles, all priced at $11.99 and up. The wines will be available for purchase at the store.
