Pennsylvania Revenue Department Releases November Collections

HARRISBURG, Pa., Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania collected $1.8 billion in General Fund revenue in November, bringing fiscal-year-to-date collections to $10.7 billion, Secretary of Revenue Eileen McNulty reported today.

Sales tax receipts totaled $761.3 million for November, bringing the category's year-to-date total to $4.1 billion.

Personal income tax (PIT) revenue for the month was $765.2 million, bringing the year-to-date total to $4.4 billion.

Corporation tax revenue was $61.6 million for the month, bringing the year-to-date total to $873.2 million

Inheritance tax revenue was $65.7 million for the month, bringing the year-to-date total to $366.2 million.

Realty transfer tax revenue was $36.3 million for the month, bringing the year-to-date total to $215.3 million.

Other General Fund tax revenue – including cigarette, malt beverage, liquor, and table games taxes – totaled $106.2 million in November, bringing the year-to-date total to $592.7 million.

Non-tax revenue totaled $11.7 million for the month, bringing the year-to-date total to $114.8 million.

In addition to the General Fund collections, the Motor License Fund received $218.2 million for the month. Fiscal year-to-date collections for the fund – which includes the commonly known gas and diesel taxes, as well as other license, fine and fee revenues – total $1.1 billion.

November collection data does not include a comparison against anticipated amounts because monthly revenue estimates are not yet finalized.
