Pennsylvania Slot Machine Revenue Figures for April Released on Gaming Control Board Web Site

HARRISBURG, Pa., May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported today on its web site that the collective slot machine revenue produced at the 11 casinos during April dropped 4% compared to April of last year.

According to the monthly report at, this April's gross revenue from the play of slot machines statewide was $205,155,405, or approximately $9 million less than the gross revenue of $214,149,502 produced in April 2012.

The Board also reported that the amount of tax revenue generated for the Commonwealth from slot machine play during this April was $110,378,513.

The average number of operating slot machines throughout Pennsylvania at the 11 casinos was 26,074 in April 2013 compared to 26,760 at the casinos in April 2012.
