Performance Energy Company GLUKOS Announces Sponsorship Of Cylance Pro Cycling Teams
GLUKOS To Provide Hydration, Energy And Recovery Nutrition In 2017
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GLUKOS Energy announced today their global sponsorship with the Cylance Pro Cycling Women's World Tour and Continental Men's Teams as official hydration and nutrition partner. GLUKOS will provide riders with their entire line of sport energy and recovery products including all-natural energy drink mix, gels, tablets, gummies, protein drink mix and protein bars to fuel rider performance and recovery as they tackle a challenging 2017 cycling schedule.
Cylance Pro Cycling selected GLUKOS to fuel their athletes because of its superior performance and taste over other sports nutrition brands. "We are excited to have GLUKOS on board for the 2017 cycling season. We are excited to experience first-hand the performance benefits of using GLUKOS," said Manel Lacambra, Cylance Pro Cycling Women Team Director. "Our riders love the fact the GLUKOS contains no artificial ingredients and provides clean, simple energy."
The partnership comes at an exciting time for GLUKOS as the company continues to receive accolades from both the media and consumers alike as the best new product in sports nutrition.
GLUKOS founder Mark Jensen, a former collegiate runner and Ironman competitor, realized there was a gap in the energy product market. This led him to extensive research and development to find the optimum source of energy that was both healthy and effective for athletes. GLUKOS is similar to an IV because it contains the same basic ingredients, including water, glucose and electrolytes, like potassium and sodium. Glucose is the only fuel the human body can use to produce natural energy. Other energy products on the market contain High Fructose Corn Syrup, which creates lactic acid and triglycerides in the muscles that hurt performance and recovery, caffeine, which artificially increases the heart rate and causes dehydration, and artificial sweetener.
This past April, GLUKOS also launched its groundbreaking protein bars and powders, which deliver protein into the bloodstream faster and more effectively than any product in the crowded protein market. Constructed with high-quality whey protein isolate, GLUKOS' protein bars and powders utilize Glucose – the "good" sugar – and contain no sucrose, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweetener, color or flavoring.
"Working with Cylance Pro Cycling gives us the opportunity to fuel athletes who compete at the very top of their sport across the globe with the cleanest and quickest energy and recovery products available," said Mark Jensen, GLUKOS Founder. "Between the hours of training, travel and racing, these riders will have an advantage over the competition as GLUKOS provides optimal fuel and recovery both on and off the road."
GLUKOS is available in six energy products, including gels, powders, tablets, gummies and bars and two protein products including a powder and bar. GLUKOS is available in sports specialty retail stores across the country for athletes that want to perform at their optimum levels while competing. Learn more about GLUKOS Energy at glukosenergy.com.
