ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Zesty Paws®, a leading provider of pet health supplements and grooming supplies, announced a new Paw-ternity time off and pet adoption policy as part of the company's ongoing commitment to healthier and happier lives for people and pets.

Zesty Paws® recognizes that pets are just as much a part of the family as any human counterpart. To acknowledge that, they have recently adopted a Paw-ternity leave policy which allows all eligible employees to take an extra day of paid time off each year to spend with their pets. It provides benefits to both the employee, who gets a day to relax with their four-legged friends, and for the pets who get some much-needed time with their parents.

Employees who choose to take advantage of the Paw-ternity policy are asked to take a picture of their pet and provide a short summary of how they spent their day with their pet. Both the picture and summary will be shared to brighten the days of other employees.
