Ruppel, with his experience in both business and consumer-directed global markets, is known for his deep understanding of print, digital, and technology convergence. Most recently as President of McGraw-Hill Education's Professional Division, he led the successful digital transformation strategy for the company's global franchise. Under his leadership, the digital enterprise experienced significant worldwide growth and expansion.

Ruppel holds a B.A. in Art History from Hamilton College. He will be based in Phaidon's New York office. The company also has offices in London, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Paris, and Tokyo, with worldwide distribution.
