PhenotypeIT Announces Hiring of New Chairman of the Board and Acting Chief Marketing Officer

Dr. Grinspoon has supported the organization for the last two years as an advisor and accepted the office of Chairman on January 25, 2010.

Dr. Grinspoon is Professor of Medicine at the Harvard School of Medicine and Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Program in Nutritional Metabolism. Dr. Grinspoon is an expert on metabolic and neuroendocrine dysregulation in undernutrition. He is a funded NIH researcher focusing his efforts on the utilization of extensive phenotyping in the area of body composition, fat distribution, and clinical consequences of abnormal fat distribution.

Simultaneously, Maria Malavenda is joining PhenotypeIT as Acting Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Malavenda currently serves as CEO, Konnected Consulting, and comes to the organization with 20 plus years in the healthcare industry as a successful management consultant, advisor, and line executive for organizations such as Monster Worldwide, Deloitte, Accenture, Johnson & Johnson, and Aetna. She will be responsible for leading the organization's strategy, business development, and marketing efforts.
