CHICAGO, Dec. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Phusion Projects, LLC, a Chicago-based alcoholic beverage company, and technology firm XL.net, Inc. are pleased to announce the donation of 12 laptop computers to the Breakthrough Urban Ministries women's center. The two companies contributed the items to help the center with its need for computing equipment.
"The core of our business is providing the tools and resources organizations need to boost their productivity to the next level, and it is our hope that this is exactly what will happen for the women at Breakthrough with this donation," said Adam Radulovic, president of XL.net Inc.
"Technology, and access to it, is a critical area of need for those living in impoverished communities," said Yolanda Field, chief program officer of the Breakthrough Adult Network. "We are thankful to Phusion and glad to be given more tools to assist us in helping those we serve gain skills. Our organization helps provide access through these laptops to technology needed for employment, housing and communication needs."
