PicsArt Celebrates Second Anniversary by Tripling Its User Base
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On November, 7, the second year anniversary of the mobile editing app PicsArt, Inc., the company celebrated its climb to 90 mln installs. This is triple the figure from last year, and furthermore, active monthly users, a group which signifies consumer engagement with a product, reached a very respectable 25 mln.

PicsArt is among the 50 most downloaded apps on Google Play and one of the leading editors for Android and iOS; moreover, the company has taken major strides in the past year to become one of the largest online art communities. The app prides itself on the slogan "Where everyone can become an artist," and backs up its claim by distinguishing itself as one of the most full-featured and easy-to-use editors available, in addition to being completely free.
To date, beyond PicsArt's 25-30 mln active monthly users, PicsArt's social network currently has 9 million members, boasts over 20 mln photos shared, with users performing 2 mln edits daily.
PicsArt user testimonials such as, "I can create artwork out of almost nothing..." have become commonplace, and user satisfaction has helped to maintain the app's user rating of 4.7 on Google Play, a figure which at times places PicsArt as the top-rated editor among the most installed 50 apps on the Android market.
