Pittsburgh's Hottest Band Lovebettie Wants a "GRAMMY Gig of a Lifetime"

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Lovebettie, Pittsburgh's hottest band, is asking for your vote to send them to perform at The 2014 GRAMMY's in Los Angeles.  Part of Microsoft Surface's GRAMMY Gig of a Lifetime Contest, Lovebettie was nominated into the final 40 by celebrity judges Fall Out Boy, Emeli Sande, and Austin Mahone.  The winning band members will receive a Surface tablet, $500 cash, and be flown out to Los Angeles for 8 days. They will end the week with a live performance at Club Nokia in Los Angeles during the GRAMMY celebration.

Fans are able to vote for Lovebettie until Friday, January 10 by visiting http://gig.cbs.com/#/nominee/1707.  Click MAX VOTE each day until Jan. 10 for 50x votes for Lovebettie.  The winning band will be announced on Friday, Jan. 17.

Winning the GRAMMY Gig of a Lifetime would mean everything to Lovebettie lead vocal singer Alexandra Naples. "We are super excited and honored to be nominated. Recently deemed a RollingStone.com's "Band to Watch" and called "Pittsburgh's Hottest Band" by Microsoft Windows, Lovebettie is known as pioneers of "Swagger Rock."  This Pittsburgh native group comprised of four members has toured relentlessly, launching them from a local favorite to a national success story.  Lovebettie has performed on Van's Warped Tour, direct support slot on Milwaukee's Summerfest, and featured on Microsoft Windows Media Player.  They have shared bills with multitudes of national acts including: Lifehouse, Hinder, 311, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Joy Formidable, Fuel, Hanson, Rick Springfield, Imagine Dragons, and many more.  In 2010 Lovebettie performed The Official Lady Gaga Afterparty for her Monsters Ball Tour, and were personally selected by Jon Bon Jovi as one of three bands to contend for a tour opening spot.
