PJM Named One Of Nation's Best Adoption-Friendly Companies Seventh Consecutive Year PJM Earns Award
VALLEY FORGE, Pa., Sept. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PJM Interconnection, the electricity grid operator for 13 states and the District of Columbia, has been named by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption as one of the best adoption-friendly companies in America. PJM is receiving the honor for the seventh consecutive year.
The foundation developed the Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces in America lists, categorized by industry, from a survey of more than 500 companies. They were ranked based on their adoption benefits, such as financial reimbursement for the costs of adoption and paid adoption leave for employees. PJM ranked fourth in the nation within its category of energy and utility companies.
Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's and of the foundation, was himself adopted and was a champion of adoption.
