Dubbed POTB, for "pat-on-the-back," Planet Fitness is rolling out a custom-built POTB Generator, a Facebook app that generates POTBs for just about anything. The POTB Generator offers hundreds of pre-written POTBs to choose from, or people can add text to their own image and share it with friends on Facebook or Twitter. When Planet Fitness reaches 20,000 POTBs, they will throw cupcake parties at all of their locations.

Born from Planet Fitness' Judgement Free Zone, sending a POTB to a friend or family member is a gesture of respect and encouragement, meaning whatever you are doing is working.
