The company expands into one of the fastest-growing platforms. Google's Android marketplace crossed the 10 billion app downloads mark, with 25% in the 'games' category. The Shakes & Fidget app allows fans of the fantasy role-playing game to embark on quests, upgrade their equipment and participate in guild activities on the go. Players use the same login as with the browser game version (http://www.sfgame.us/) to continue playing with their existing online hero.
Next for Playa Games is an iOS version of the Shakes & Fidget app for iPhone and iPad. CEO Hannes Beuck also confirms that the company is planning apps for the company's whole browser game line-up: "Obviously, we would like to enable our players to experience SoccerStar and Bloodmoon on mobile devices as well".
