VANCOUVER, March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Polaris Minerals Corporation (TSX: PLS) today announced the appointment of Mr. Eugene ('Gene') Martineau to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Martineau's appointment to the Board is subject to TSX approval.
