Polycase Expands Versatile ABS Enclosure XR Series with Addition of New Size Option
AVON, Ohio, Jan. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Electronics enclosures manufacturer Polycase® has extended their XR Series of ABS plastic electronics enclosure to include a new size option, the XR-34. The new 4.50" x 3.38" x 1.85" enclosure is suitable for a variety of electronics applications. Like many Polycase project boxes with surface-mounting flanges, the XR Series boxes are also available without surface-mounting flanges. The flanges feature round holes for permanent mounting and keyholes for temporary mounting. The screw-on cover hosts a recessed center, perfect for membrane keypads or graphic overlays, with your choice of a textured or smooth finish.

The XR Series is molded from black flame-retardant ABS plastic with a flame rating of UL94-5VA. PC board mounting bosses are standard in the base of the enclosure. Priced from $3.20 each (for quantities of 1000) the XR Series can be purchased online directly from Polycase at www.polycase.com/xr-series with no minimum order requirements.
