DALLAS, Sept. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Popbar, the maker of customizable popGelato, popSorbetto, and YogurtPops, founded in New York City in 2010, has signed a multi-unit franchising agreement with QM & QT LLC, owned by Dallas residents, Bao Tran and Tran Nguyen. The development will focus on the greater Dallas area, which is the tenth US territory to claim Popbar locations.
Popbar is very excited to enter the North East Texas market. While exact locations have yet to be publically announced, construction is set to begin in late 2016 with plans of opening the first store in early 2017. If you can't wait until the new year, Popbar's got you covered – you can visit any one of the already open national or international locations.
Popbar currently has 9 open locations in the US in NY, CA, and FL, and 14 international locations open in Canada, Russia, Japan, Korea, and Indonesia. There are also 9 stores under construction in other territories, and many more to come. Most recently, Popbar announced new development in the greater Houston area with the signing of a 10-unit franchising agreement. While the brand is expanding rapidly, it prides itself on its original "mom and pop" values - superior quality, in-house production, outstanding service, and authenticity.
Dedicated to serving 'the best' in frozen treats, Popbar serves handcrafted gelato, sorbetto, and yogurt in a new way – on a stick. All pops are made in-house daily with all natural ingredients. On the menu, you'll find 40+ rotating flavors ranging from classics (Chocolate and Vanilla) to the more unique (Green Tea and Passion Fruit). You can enjoy your pops as-is, or customize to your liking. Premium dippings and toppings include dark, milk, and white chocolate, nuts, sprinkles, waffle cone, caramel corn, and more.
At Popbar, a mouthwatering experience awaits for everyone, even those looking for vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free options. Other indulgences include Hot Chocolate on a Stick, Frozen Hot Chocolate, and the Double Shake, which is Popbar's take on a milkshake, made with any two gelato or sorbetto pops. Popbar guarantees a "love at first bite" experience, and with so many delicious options to choose from, it seems just one visit won't do!
"As foodies and even bigger dessert lovers, we could not be more excited to bring Popbar to Dallas! The gelato, sorbet and yogurt pops are pretty much everything you could ever want in a dessert all wrapped into one – delicious, flavorful, beautiful, customizable, and the list goes on. That they're made with all natural ingredients and lower in calories than other frozen treats is purely extra," says newly awarded franchisee, Bao Tran. "We know Popbar will be new to most Texans and look forward to sharing in their first taste of deliciousness on a stick!"
