Port City Java Plans Grand Opening For First Cafe In Jacksonville

WILMINGTON, N.C., Sept. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Port City Java is proud to announce the opening of its newest cafe at 102 Marine Blvd. in Jacksonville, NC. The cafe will be open Monday through Friday from 5:30am until 10pm, on Saturdays from 6am until 10pm and on Sundays from 6am until 9pm. The 2400 square foot cafe offers its guests the option of 36 seats including three spacious booths and a soft seating area with soothing water walls. A relaxing outdoor patio will include five tables presenting an additional 20 seats. Guests on the go will benefit from this location's quick and efficient drive-thru.

From Thursday, September 4^th through Monday, September 8^th, we will be hosting a GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION that is sure to keep Jacksonville buzzing! Guests who visit the cafe can receive a free small coffee until noon each day. Guests will also have an opportunity to win a $100 gift card each day during our grand opening giveaway. No other purchases are necessary but other menu items cannot be substituted.

The cafe's menu features the same favorites found at Port City Java cafes in Wilmington, NC including our Carolina Roasted coffee, milkshakes made with real ice cream and real fruit smoothies. Baked goods will be prepared fresh on site daily. The food menu includes breakfast sandwiches and wraps available to order all day. The lunch menu will feature a rotating variety of made-to-order salads, wraps and sandwiches. The Cafe Manager at our new Jacksonville cafe worked for Port City Java for several years as a barista before taking on this new role with the company. She has hired over 20 individuals to become the highly trained baristas at this cafe.

Port City Java has been voted Best Coffee Shop by Encore Magazine readers in Wilmington, NC for over 16 years. The company is looking forward to sponsoring the upcoming Diamonds & Denim event on September 6^th to benefit the Onslow County Partnership for Children.
