Practice Fusion Updates Logo to Mark Next Phase in its Evolution New brand mark comes on the heels of record growth and momentum for the country's largest cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) platform
SAN FRANCISCO, March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Practice Fusion, the country's largest physician-patient community, unveiled a new logo to reflect its continuing evolution as a company. Since its founding in 2005, Practice Fusion has transformed from a scrappy startup to the fastest growing EHR vendor in market share gains (Source: SK&A).
The new logo comes on the heels of a banner year for Practice Fusion. The company ended 2013 with an $85 million round of Series D funding, which is helping it aggressively expand its technology platform to connect doctors and patients with data to drive better care. Doctors have chosen the Practice Fusion EHR to facilitate five million patient visits each month.
The new logo is a bold evolution of Practice Fusion's mark, but also maintains many elements from its history. The cross shape is more pronounced, featuring brilliant solid colors. The three-dimensional look remains, but its perspective is shifted so that the shape is more significant, balanced and solid.
"The new logo mirrors how we see ourselves at Practice Fusion: constantly evolving, smart and connected," said Ryan Howard, founder and CEO, Practice Fusion. "As our logo has changed, we, too, continue to grow to better connect U.S. providers, patients and healthcare partners on our platform. We are on a mission to transform healthcare and we will continue to evolve so that providers can deliver the best possible care to their patients."
