NEW YORK, Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Practising Law Institute (PLI) has received the highest award for the "Best Use of Video in Learning" from the Brandon Hall Group in its annual learning awards competition. The award was given for PLI's online course titled "The Art & Science of Interviewing Pro Bono Clients," which instructs attorneys on how to collect information during client interviews, manage client frustrations with the legal system, and handle attorney-client privilege issues.
The course was created in partnership with Kaleidoscope Learning, an e-learning developer that specializes in goal-oriented, realistic learning experiences, and features Alicia Aiken, Director of the Confidentiality Institute. Ms. Aiken also serves as a faculty fellow for PLI, concentrating on interactive learning products.
"The feedback from attorneys has been terrific. It is gratifying to see that our investment in innovative programming has received external validation from independent reviewers," said Anita Shapiro, President of PLI.
Entries were evaluated by a panel of senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and executives. Award winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group's HCM Excellence Conference on January 24-27, 2017 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
