DALLAS, Nov. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T, a global leader in connected smartwatches, is bringing customers the Samsung Gear S3 frontier just in time for the holidays. The 1st 4G LTE smartwatch from Samsung will be available for preorder from AT&T starting on Friday, November 4th.
Customers can buy the Gear S3 frontier for $49.99 with a 2 year agreement when purchased with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone on AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year with eligible service on both devices, or on an AT&T Installment Plan for $17.50 per month for 20 months when you have eligible service.1
With the Gear S3 frontier, AT&T customers can enjoy a variety of exclusive experiences including NumberSync, which lets you leave your phone and bring your number with you. With NumberSync you can send and receive texts, as well as make and receive calls2, using the same mobile number as your smartphone.3 Additionally, you can use the Gear S3 frontier to control your DIRECTV® Receiver4 and Digital Life5 home even when you don't have your phone close by.6 The Gear S3 frontier acts as a DIRECTV remote so you can watch and record your favorite shows, change channels, and pause or rewind programming. With the AT&T Digital Life app you can set the alarm, view camera images, and lock the doors (optional camera and door packages required).

The smartwatch has an easy-to-use steel bezel that lets you move between apps and look at your notifications on its 1.3 inch circular Super AMOLED display.
