Primestyle Responds to Yoko Ono's New Jewelry Collection In a recent interview, Yoko Ono discusses her new fall jewelry collection designed in collaboration with Swarovski Elements. Noting Ono's contribution to jewelry, online retailer Primestyle comments on the trend of crystal pieces and the meaning such accessories can hold.

NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- While the demand for designer jewelry has remained present throughout history, each fashion season tends to bring new attention to fresh trends and approaches to jewelry design. A recent article from Time interviews jewelry designer Yoko Ono, who recently unveiled "two exclusive crystal key necklace designs as part of her collaboration with Swarovski Elements for fall." According to Ono, the collection was designed around the concept of "unlocking the door to a better life." The article notes that the pieces include "a limited edition crystal cut 'Key To Open The Universe' necklace on a silver chain and a slightly more casual companion, 'Key To Open The Forest' pendant adorned with a tiny dangling metal key on a black cord." Online jewelry retailer Primestyle applauds Ono's designs and expands on the many ideas that pendants and other accessories can represent.

While Ono's new collection is cited to be relatively affordable—ranging from $90 to $350 a piece—Primestyle notes that inexpensive, yet meaningful jewelry is not hard to find. Although crystal remains popular among consumers, Primestyle also notes that it is important for stylish shoppers to stay aware of the timeless classics, such as diamonds. In a recent press statement, the company explains, "Primestyle deals with diamond jewelry at a factory cost. This allows budget-conscious shoppers to afford something they couldn't otherwise fit into their price range."

In the article, Ono is asked, "Who is the most beautiful woman in the world?" She responds, "The most beautiful woman is all women who know what to do with themselves, and with their intelligence. They know they're beautiful." With that attitude Ono designed her "Key" collection to empower individuals to open new "doors." Following a similar sentiment, Primestyle comments on the importance of jewelry in terms of how it defines a person's "journey."

According to the company, Primestyle's collection of "Journey Pendants" was designed to signify continual personal development, growth, and the evolving nature of relationships. In  addition, the company offers three-stone rings that allow an individual to represent their past, present and future. Primestyle concludes by reminding customers that while jewelry often comes down to personal style and taste, there are many choices available. Primestyle offers a wide assortment of unique affordable jewelry crafted to please its customers.
