First Impressions Count - Perfect Your Profile with the Generation Success Professional Photo Day
'While the suit will never make the man - or woman - it's hard to deny that first impressions count,' says Generation Success Founder, James Adeleke. 'When potential employers look at your online profile they are, of course, most interested in your CV, but when it comes to the choice between two exceptionally experienced candidates, the one who looks the part will almost always have the edge.'
Working in partnership with The Office Group (TOG), London-based charitable enterprise currently working within the Hackney Borough, Generation Success, is holding a Professional Photography Day to help raise funds for their local unemployment scheme. On Wednesday 23 March, participants will benefit from a 15 minute session with professional photography company Sam Lane Photography, while all proceeds will go towards the Generation Success Hackney fundraising scheme, which aims to help 25 long term unemployed local people back into work.
Perfectly staged and professionally edited, each photograph will provide participants with the ideal visual image to impress potential clients and secure new business, making sure that the first impressions are the right impressions.
A not for profit organisation, Generation Success works as a catalyst to bridge the gap between young people (aged 18-25), business and education providers. Currently in the process of applying for registered charity status, the group believes that with the right support all young people have the potential to shine. The role of Generation Success is to deliver that support, allowing young people from all backgrounds to develop the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to meet their own potential and exceed the world's expectations, forging a brighter future for each individual personally, and for the UK as a whole.
TOG Co-CEO, Charlie Green, comments: 'At TOG our aim is to find new and easier ways of conducting business. We support Generation Success because that's exactly what they're doing; rather than complaining about youth unemployment and the shortage of skills in UK business, they're working to resolve both issues in tandem.
'First impressions always do count,' he adds. 'The Generation Success photography day with Sam Lane Photography is a great way for companies and individual candidates to create professional looking profiles for a minimum fee, while supporting a good cause - everyone wins.'
The Generation Success-TOG Professional Photography Day, is just one event in a broad calendar of fundraising activities devised to give every generation the chance to become Generation Success.

Notes to Editors:
About Generation Success
Generation Success was launched by successful business man James Adeleke. A law graduate of BPP University, London, James has enjoyed a varied career in business development. He was inspired to found Generation Success following the London riots of 2011 - himself a member of what tabloid media were calling 'the lost generation', he decided it was time to start reclaiming the future for today's youth. Rather than laying blame and pointing fingers, James wanted to find ways to tackle the roots of society's problems: food poverty; deprivation; educational and employment inequality. Generation Success is James' way of helping to ensure that every young person has the chance to shine.
'I truly believe that we are limited by the boundaries of our minds,' says Adeleke, 'so I am always trying to expand mine - and to help others to do the same.'

About The Office Group
Founded in 2003 by Co-CEOs Charlie Green and Olly Olsen, The Office Group is a leading provider of design-led and flexible offices, meeting rooms and co-working spaces for start-ups, small businesses and, increasingly, larger, more established companies.
Created to challenge the outdated structure of the commercial property market, the company offers a viable alternative to traditional leases, allowing members to work across multiple locations, and enabling companies to grow, downsize or exit a space quickly and cost effectively.
Based in Hackney, with 29 buildings strategically positioned across London, as well as sites in Bristol and Leeds, TOG is currently working in collaboration with National Rail to establish a network of offices, meeting rooms and drop-in work spaces in the direct vicinity of train stations.
