Profit Recovery Partners Recruits Two Leaders to Deliver Enhanced Procurement Strategies, Spend Management and Supplier Management to Cost-Conscious CFOs
Gary Bruington and Marty Davis join PRP to reduce indirect administrative and other "back office" operational expenses across multiple expense areas for publicly traded companies, law firms, private equity firms and private companies throughout North America
COSTA MESA, Calif., April 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Profit Recovery Partners (PRP) LLC, a professional services firm specializing in innovative expense-reduction solutions, has bolstered its ability to create lean cost structures for clients by hiring Gary Bruington and Marty Davis as directors within its Solutions Management organization. PRP selected both directors for their extensive experience in working with chief financial officers and other senior executives as well as their expertise in supplier management, procurement and spend management.
"Our client-facing Solutions Management team offers long-term support and guidance to ensure maximum savings are realized from our expense reduction programs. The team has successfully delivered new cost savings to our valued long-term clients," said Don Steiner, president, PRP. "I am confident that Gary and Marty will enhance the firm's ability to deliver administrative and operational cost reduction solutions across multiple expense areas. We are fortunate to have two senior leaders with impeccable reputations for fostering executive-level relationships join our company during such a pivotal time for growth."
Bruington rejoins PRP after serving since 2003 as the president and CFO of Priority Title Company, a joint venture of First American Title Company. During this time, Bruington also served as a member of the PRP advisory board, championing ideas that resulted in service improvements, many of which have made PRP one of the fastest-growing companies locally. He first worked at PRP from 2000 to 2003, leading a team of consultants in successfully developing and implementing expense reduction solutions for FORTUNE 1000 clients.
Before PRP, Davis held various national and international sales positions at Canon USA during an accomplished 22-year tenure. In his last role, Davis served as global/national sales manager and provided marketing and sales leadership to support global account activities, including the development of customer loyalty programs. He is credited with forging high-level client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor to CEOs, CFOs and other executives.
The Solutions Management team is part of PRP's full-time staff of more than 80 professionals who offer actionable ways to reduce general and administrative expenses across the company's areas of expertise. The team conducts business reviews, supplies business intelligence and reporting, manages vendor compliance and identifies new savings opportunities for PRP clients.
These appointments follow a series of initiatives designed to improve the customer experience while achieving a 30 percent annual growth rate. In March, PRP announced a campaign to recruit managing consultants. In 2011, PRP appointed Brett Rodewald to the executive team and launched EBITDA Coach, a blog aimed at helping CFOs reduce general and administrative expenses.
