EXPERT ALERTS:
How Ebola Has Spread Across the Globe
Dr. Elaina George
Otolaryngologist
Peachtree ENT Center
"Fears of a global Ebola pandemic are 'justified' an expert has said as Nigerian health officials try to trace 30,000 people at risk of contracting the deadly disease following the death of Patrick Sawyer. The U.S. citizen boarded a flight in Liberia carrying the disease to Nigeria, potentially infecting 'anyone on the same plane'. The death toll for this, the worst outbreak recorded since the Ebola virus was discovered in 1976, stands at 672, while more than 1,200 people have been infected."
Dr. George is a board certified otolaryngologist. She graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Biology. She received her Master's degree in Medical Microbiology from Long Island University, and received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She completed her residency at Manhattan, Eye Ear & Throat Hospital. She is on the advisory council of Project 21 black leadership network, an initiative of The National Center for Public Policy Research. She hosts her own radio show, "Medicine On Call," and she is also a keynote speaker many organizations.

Easy Ways to Save Money on Family Vacations
Ian Ford
CEO
Undercover Tourist
"With the excessive time and money dedication, families' precious vacation times should be well-thought out and planned, and valued with every dollar spent. A few tips for some money saving ideas include: check the local website for theme parks and destinations you are visiting – many let you bring in unopened bottles of water; stock up at a local discount grocery store on water, portable snacks and breakfast food when you arrive at your destination; and make sure you pack plenty of the simple medical necessities, such as Band-Aids, aspirin and Neosporin to keep in your purse for any little spills while out and about."
Looking to late summer, fall and winter trip ideas, Ford, a travel expert, is available to discuss money-saving tips for travel planning, family vacation ideas, budget travel and travel trends. He has been in the travel industry for 18 years, and has advice to share for travelers to practice before hitting the road or booking flights. He can provide a number of insider tips to help families make the most of their precious vacations. When launching his company, he utilized his travel and tour operator experience to build partner relationships and his expertise in the customer-first service mentality and technology backbone. Undercover Tourist has sold millions of tickets to top Orlando attractions since 2000, and just launched in the Southern California market in late June. Undercover Tourist helps families save time and money on their vacations with discount attraction tickets, vacation planning tools, and Wait Time Apps.
