PROLOR Biotech To Present Data On Its Long-Acting Human Growth Hormone At Congress Of The GRS And IGF Society —Data Supporting Once-Weekly Dosing of hGH-CTP in Growth Hormone Deficient Adults to Be Presented at the 6th International Congress of the Growth Hormone Research Society and IGF Society—

MUNICH, Germany and NES-ZIONA, Israel, Oct. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PROLOR Biotech, Inc. (NYSE MKT: PBTH) today announced that researchers will present data from the company's Phase II trial of its long-acting human growth hormone, hGH-CTP, in growth hormone deficient adults at the 6th International Congress of the Growth Hormone Research Society (GRS) and IGF Society.  The data, which were previously reported by the company, confirm that hGH-CTP has the potential to be administered once weekly to adults with growth hormone deficiency and that it appears to be safe and well tolerated.  The International GRS and IGF Congress is being held October 17-20, 2012 in Munich, Germany.

Dr. Abraham Havron, CEO of PROLOR commented, "We welcome the opportunity to share our positive hGH-CTP data with relevant global opinion leaders attending the GRS and IGF Congress, a prestigious annual meeting that brings together prominent researchers in growth hormone physiology and diseases involving abnormalities of the growth hormone axis."

The data to be presented include results from the company's Phase II trial, which affirm that a single weekly injection of hGH-CTP has the potential to replace seven consecutive daily injections of currently marketed human growth hormone.  These results enabled PROLOR to proceed with plans for a Phase III trial in growth hormone deficient adults, which is expected to commence in the coming months.

Poster P 03-37, Once-Weekly, CTP-Modified hGH (MOD-4023) Is Effective in Growth Hormone Deficient Adults: A Phase II Dose and Frequency Finding Study, will be presented during the October 20, 2012 poster session.
