INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Prosolia, Inc. announces that Chairman Peter T. Kissinger has stepped down as the interim CEO and that Justin Wiseman has been selected to lead the Company. Dr. Wiseman has served as the firm's Research Director for 4 years and has been involved with the firm since its inception in 2004. Dr. Kissinger commented, "I've enjoyed an association with Dr. Wiseman for several years and the Board enthusiastically accepted my recommendation to promote him to the President and CEO slot. Dr. Wiseman is an inventor on the primary company technology and he is ready to lead as the company moves beyond the development stage. Prosolia is very fortunate to have him accept this leadership assignment."
The Board further elected Mr. John C. Hertig, Executive Director of AMIPurdue as a member. Mr. Hertig has extensive experience in the medical device sector and will be invaluable in guiding the company to maturity.
Kevin Boscacci, the former COO of Prosolia, has resigned as President and left to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Boscacci was involved in establishing the company as it incubated out of Purdue when he was an MBA student at the Krannert School of Management.
Prosolia is focused on capitalizing on its solid investment in its core DESI technology and will now concentrate on bringing a continued stream of novel mass spectrometry product solutions for the pharmaceutical and other markets needing cost-effective analytical chemistry diagnostic solutions.
