HOUSTON, Jan. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hart Energy is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark E. Chiles to Vice President - Digital Operations and Chief Technology Officer. This comes following his success serving as the company's CTO since 2011. In his expanded role, Chiles will partner with the digital business development team to provide custom solutions for Hart Energy's clients. He will advise leadership and work collaboratively to develop and implement digital and social media strategies.
Chiles joined Hart Energy in 2008 as the Director of Information Technology. Under his leadership, teams have launched and supported numerous websites and mobile applications for Hart Energy's conferences and publications.

Prior to joining Hart Energy, Chiles spent two years as Information Technology Manager for Excargo Services Inc. and five years as a Volunteer Firefighter for the Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department. Chiles has several Microsoft certifications and completed the technology certification program at Kingwood College. This promotion makes the 33-year-old Chiles Hart Energy's youngest Vice President.
