PSE&G Customers Can Avoid Future Electric Rate Increases for Four Years with FirstEnergy Solutions' PriceControl Offers
AKRON, Ohio, Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Residents served by Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) now have the opportunity to secure one price for four years by signing up with the FirstEnergy Solutions PriceControl offer. By enrolling now, residents can lock in a fixed price of 11.22 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh) on electric generation through 2017 and avoid PSE&G's quarterly rate fluctuations.
"Our PriceControl offer is a great opportunity for residents interested in price stability to take advantage of today's historically low prices in the energy market," said Trent Smith, vice president of Sales & Marketing for FirstEnergy Solutions. "They'll get a great low price that won't change over the entire four-year term of the agreement."
Residents can enroll online at www.fes.com/njpricecontrol or by calling 1-866-625-7318. Residents who choose FirstEnergy Solutions as their electric generation supplier will continue to receive one bill and the same level of service from their utility, and the utility will continue to deliver the electricity, maintain the poles and wires, and respond to power outages.
