Psychologist Dr. Dara Retains TransMedia Group to Offer President Trump, Speaker Pelosi and Sen. Schumer a Psychological Way Out of Their Impasse

BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Dara, a licensed clinical psychologist personally impacted by the government shutdown, has retained TransMedia Group to offer free conciliation sessions to the Nation's top Democrats and Republicans with the objective of ending the stalemate "paralyzing our country." 

TransMedia said Dr. Dara, known for her productive marathon sessions in South Florida, believes she has a prescription for ending the deadlock over President Trump's wall, which has put her husband, an immigrant who has served 31 years in the U.S. Military, out of work. 

"Dr. Dara believes she has the prescription to end the government shutdown that has furloughed her husband, a federal agent in the intelligence and counter-terrorism field for 26 years," said TransMedia CEO Tom Madden. 

"She comes from anther space of how do we explain this to our children, how is this different from Fascism of the 1920's and 30's? What are we modeling and teaching?" 

Madden said publicity will underscore that while narcissism is involved, Dr. Dara sees that it's more about insecurity, fear and hate at the base of the impasse.

"If President Trump was in my office, I could offer him a way of thinking that would shift his perspective.  Then there is the opposing side, feeling equally responsible and troubled, which a session with me could help alleviate.

"Our publicity will preview sessions with Dr. Dara in which she would probe Trump's promise to   'take the mantle' of any shutdown in light of it now having furloughed close to a million Americans and FEAR heightening in our society," said Madden.

"I would probe into why Trump's base supporters fear the changes of demographics and economic outcomes that immigration- legal and illegal--will cause.   How they see Democratic Party members as unpatriotic, while millions of Democrats who oppose Trump see his supporters as haters and view their values as un-American and inhumane.

"Each party is being blocked by insecurity and fear that needs to be uncovered and dealt with   psychologically. Their perspective of compromise is being influenced by their emotional or physiological perception to a perceived threat.
