PubMatic expands operations in Japan and appoints Yosuke Maekawa as Country Manager
TOKYO, July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PubMatic, the programmatic advertising platform for leading publishers, today announced the appointment of Yosuke Maekawa in the newly created role of Country Manager Japan. The appointment follows PubMatic's entry into the Japanese market in January with strategic partner So-net Media Networks, part of the So-net Corporation, and the launch of a localized platform in April.

Prior to joining PubMatic, Yosuke led comScore Japan KK where he spent four years expanding its operations and increasing the brand awareness and customer portfolio. He joined comScore from Yahoo! Inc. from Overture Japan KK (later acquired by Yahoo! Japan) in 2005 and later transitioned to Yahoo! Inc.'s APAC operation in 2007. During his time at Yahoo! Inc. Yosuke increased efficiencies and operations through working with major global ad agencies and brands, including Dentsu and WPP group companies.
