NEW YORK, Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- PwC US today announced that it has acquired substantially all the assets of Ant's Eye View (AEV), a premier boutique social media strategy development and consulting firm. With the closing of the deal, Ant's Eye View consultants will join PwC's existing social and digital professionals to help companies create and execute effective social media and digital marketing strategies. Former AEV founders, CEO Sean O'Driscoll and Chief Innovation Officer Jake McKee, have joined PwC as principals.
"We are very pleased to welcome these seasoned social media professionals to PwC's Advisory Practice," said Dana Mcilwain, PwC Vice Chairman and U.S. Advisory Leader. The acquisition reflects PwC's commitment to building depth in areas that meet the needs of its clients, addressing their most complex business challenges, from strategy to execution.
"We're excited to be part of PwC and look forward to teaming with our new colleagues," said Sean O'Driscoll, former CEO of Ant's Eye View and now a PwC principal. "Brand management begins with activating and embedding the customer voice into every aspect of the business, and the breadth of PwC's consulting capabilities coupled with their deep industry skills will enable us to deliver greater value to companies ready to take the transformative leap to become a true social enterprise."
